Acer is Releasing the Stream Smartphone

Acer had announced it will be releasing its Stream smartphone in August. The phone is described as one that will best suit a user interested in watching films and web browsing. It has already been marked as one of the fastest phones on the market.

Acer is releasing the Stream smartphone with attractive features which include a slender 11.2 mm thick casing, a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touch screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, Android 2.1 platform, three predictive keyboards, a smart dialer, and a 5 megapixel camera.
When recording in 720p the phone can integrate with GPS system to allow geo-tags. Acer is releasing the Stream Smartphone with 2 MB of internal Flash memory, and an 8 GB memory card. The micro-SD card slot supports expansion up to 32 GB.

Social networking apps come preloaded. Connectivity of the Stream includes WiFi, Bluetooth, HSDPA, and 3G networking. It also can connect to PC’s and notebooks through USB and TVs through HDMI.
Acer is releasing the stream smartphone in time for new students to pick up a phone for the school year. Prices are expected to be around 399 pounds.
